Is This for You?

Teen therapy in Forest Grove and online across Oregon, for tweens and teens (10+) who are needing support to work through the challenges you are experiencing with various areas of your life. The challenges that teens go through are specific to them and it is helpful to have a listening ear, to feel heard, and feel supported in a non-judgmental space where they can continue to explore who they want to grow and become.

I see young people as individuals with a lot of potential to grow, adapt, and learn. Sessions are a private, supportive, and judgment-free space meeting teens where they are at, going at their pace and offering them the support they need to understand, explore and trust their own voice.

Tweens & Teens (10+)

Specialized support for young people navigating identity, relationships, and the complexities of growing up.

A collaborative space to break old patterns, process experiences, and build the life you envision.

Parents

Guidance and support for parents seeking help for their children or navigating family dynamics.

What It Can Look Like

Stress and pressure

School, friendships, sports, and expectations stacking up faster than they can manage..

Identity

Big questions about who they are, where they belong, and what matters to them.

Big emotions

Anger, sadness, or numbness that feels too large to say out loud.

Friendships and family

Conflict, loneliness, or feeling misunderstood at home, at school, and social settings.

How I Can Help

Together I work on making the space safe and comfortable for teens to discuss any topic that is on their mind. I keep things real, offer support for executive functioning growth, and I respect where a teen is coming from. Depending on what helps, we use expressive arts to communicate when words are hard, mindfulness to handle feelings that are overwhelming, cognitive behavioral therapy to restructure their intrusive thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help them find their own reasons to grow.

If school is the main pressure, academic stress therapy can be helpful, and for those who need support for ADHD or anxiety, I hold space for that too. Parents are welcome to start the conversation and stay appropriately involved.

“Every person’s journey is unique. I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you discover your own path forward.”

Mindfulness

Learning to stay grounded in the present moment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Identifying and shifting patterns that no longer serve you.

Expressive Arts

Using creativity to communicate when words aren’t enough.

Motivational Interviewing

Finding the internal spark to make the changes you desire.

Client-Centered Care

You are the expert of your life; I provide the tools and perspective to help you navigate it.
