Anxiety Therapy in Forest Grove, OR

Is This for You?
Anxiety therapy in Forest Grove and online across Oregon, for tweens (10+), teens, and adults who feel worn down by the what-ifs. If you are experiencing racing thoughts, and your chest tightens when it used to not feel that way, or your worries have quietly taken the wheel, you are in the right place.
I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where we slow things down and make room for what you are actually feeling. You do not need the words for all of it yet. We can find them together.
Tweens & Teens (10+)
Specialized support for young people navigating identity, relationships, and the complexities of growing up.
Adults
A collaborative space to break old patterns, process experiences, and build the life you envision.
Parents
Guidance and support for parents seeking help for their children or navigating family dynamics.
What It Can Look Like
Racing thoughts
The loop of worst-case thinking that makes it hard to rest or focus.
Physical tension
A tight chest, shallow breath, or a stomach that knots before school, work, or social plans.
Avoidance
Turning down things you care about because dodging the anxiety feels easier than facing it.
Overwhelm
Feeling like everything is urgent and there is never quite enough of you to go around.
How I Can Help
Anxiety is not a flaw, and you do not need to feel afraid of it. Together we’ll look at what sets it off and build practical tools you can use at the moment. I draw on mindfulness to help you focus on the present, and cognitive behavioral therapy to gently question the thoughts that keep the alarm ringing.
Oftentimes, anxiety can appear along with other symptoms. Multiple symptoms (comorbidity) is a common overlap that happens in mental health. If that ends up being the case, we will explore together the other stressors that are in your life. If that fits, depression therapy or work stress and burnout therapy (if applicable) are a couple of examples of things to work on. Many people start with the initial symptoms and continue the work with ongoing individual therapy as symptoms and stressors show up, evolve, change and are worked through in therapy.
“Every person’s journey is unique. I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you discover your own path forward.”
Mindfulness
Learning to stay grounded in the present moment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and shifting patterns that no longer serve you.
Expressive Arts
Using creativity to communicate when words aren’t enough.

Finding the internal spark to make the changes you desire.
Client-Centered Care
You are the expert of your life; I provide the tools and perspective to help you navigate it.
The Investment
