Trauma Therapy in Forest Grove

Is This for You?
Trauma therapy in Forest Grove and online across Oregon, for teens and adults who are still carrying something heavy from the past. Trauma is not only what happened to you. It is also how your body and mind learned to keep you safe afterward.
Here, you are always in control of the pace. We never push past what feels manageable, and you never have to share more than you are ready to. Safety comes first, always.

What It Can Look Like
Feeling on edge
A nervous system stuck in alert mode, even when you are safe.
Intrusive memories
Flashbacks, nightmares, or moments that pull you back without warning
Numbness or disconnection
Feeling far away from yourself, your body, or the people around you.
Old patterns
Reactions that made sense once but no longer fit the life you want
How I Can Help
We build a foundation of safety and steadiness before we ever look at the hard parts. I use mindfulness and grounding to help your body feel safe in the present, client-centered care so you stay in the driver’s seat, and gentle, evidence-based tools to process the past at a pace that respects your limits.
Trauma often shows up with anxiety, so anxiety therapy may weave in, and for many women this work connects with women’s mental health. It can also continue within ongoing individual therapy.
For younger clients, this connects naturally with teen therapy and support for academic stress. When anxiety rides along with ADHD, anxiety therapy can help. All of this fits within ongoing individual therapy.
“Every person’s journey is unique. I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you discover your own path forward.”
Mindfulness
Learning to stay grounded in the present moment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and shifting patterns that no longer serve you.
Expressive Arts
Using creativity to communicate when words aren’t enough.
Motivational Interviewing
Finding the internal spark to make the changes you desire.
Client-Centered Care
You are the expert of your life; I provide the tools and perspective to help you navigate it.
The Investment
Individual sessions are $145 for 45 to 50 minutes. I accept major credit cards through IVY Pay, HSA and FSA cards, cash, and checks, and I am happy to talk through sliding scale options or out-of-network superbills so cost is one less barrier.
The hardest part is often taking the first step in making contact. I am here to help make this process as smooth as possible for you. Let’s first start by seeing if we’re a good fit for your healing journey
Payment Options
