Family Conflict Therapy
Is This for You?
Family conflict therapy in Forest Grove and online across Oregon, for families stuck in the same arguments with no way out. When every conversation turns into a standoff, it is exhausting for everyone, and it does not mean your family is broken.
I offer a neutral, respectful space where each person can be heard, including the ones who have stopped trying to speak up. The goal is not to find a winner. It is to help you understand each other again.
Tweens & Teens (10+)
Specialized support for young people navigating identity, relationships, and the complexities of growing up.
Adults
A collaborative space to break old patterns, process experiences, and build the life you envision.
Parents
Guidance and support for parents seeking help for their children or navigating family dynamics.
What It Can Look Like
Repeating arguments
The same fight on a loop, with no one feeling truly heard.
Parent and teen tension
Growing distance, slammed doors, and conversations that go nowhere.
Communication breakdown
Walls, silence, or sarcasm standing in for what people actually need to say.
Life changes
Divorce, blended families, moves, or loss reshaping how everyone relates.
How I Can Help
We slow the cycle down and look at what each person is really asking for underneath the conflict. I use client-centered care so no one feels ganged up on, and practical, evidence-based tools so families leave with new ways to talk and to repair when things go sideways.
This work often pairs with parenting support for the adults and teen therapy for younger members who could use their own space. You can read more about my broader family therapy work as well.
“Every person’s journey is unique. I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you discover your own path forward.”
Mindfulness
Learning to stay grounded in the present moment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and shifting patterns that no longer serve you.
Expressive Arts
Using creativity to communicate when words aren’t enough.
Motivational Interviewing
Finding the internal spark to make the changes you desire.
Client-Centered Care
You are the expert of your life; I provide the tools and perspective to help you navigate it.
The Investment
Family sessions are $160 for 55 to 60 minutes. I accept major credit cards through IVY Pay, HSA and FSA cards, cash, and checks, and I am happy to talk through sliding scale options or out-of-network superbills so cost is one less barrier.
The hardest part is often taking the first step in making contact. I am here to help make this process as smooth as possible for you. Let’s first start by seeing if we’re a good fit for your healing journey
Payment Options
I accept all major credit cards via IVY Pay, HSA/FSA cards, cash, and checks.
