Who Jasmine Works with in Hillsboro
Hillsboro is home to first-generation immigrants navigating acculturation stress, tech professionals managing demanding careers, parents raising children in a fast-changing world, and teenagers dealing with identity and peer pressure. Jasmine’s practice is built to serve all of them.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a private, non-judgmental space to work through what is weighing on you – whether that is anxiety that will not quiet down, depression that has made everyday life feel flat, a life transition that left you unmoored, or trauma you have carried for years. Sessions are collaborative, client-paced, and focused on building lasting change.
Clients commonly bring these concerns to individual therapy:
- Anxiety, excessive worry, and panic attacks
- Depression, low mood, and persistent fatigue
- Work-related stress and professional burnout
- Life transitions - job changes, relationship shifts, relocation, identity
- Trauma and its effects on daily functioning
- Multicultural identity, belonging, and acculturation stress
- Postpartum depression and women's mental health
- ADHD-related emotional and organizational challenges
Family Therapy
When family relationships are strained by conflict, communication failures, or behavioral challenges in children, everyone in the household carries the weight of it. Family therapy helps families identify what is driving the disconnection and build more effective, compassionate ways of relating to each other.
Families commonly seek family therapy for:
- Persistent family conflict and recurring arguments
- Parent-child relationship tension, especially with tweens and teenagers
- Co-parenting difficulties after separation or divorce
- Blended family dynamics and step-parent integration
- Supporting a child or teen through emotional or behavioral difficulties
- Family adjustment to major changes - a move, a loss, a new sibling
Parent Consultations
When a child is struggling and nothing seems to work, the combination of worry, exhaustion, and self-doubt can be overwhelming. Parent consultations offer a focused space to talk through your child’s specific behavior, understand what is driving it, and leave with concrete strategies you can actually use. Available as standalone sessions or alongside a child’s individual therapy.
