Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards as payment. I utilize IvyPay to process payments received from cards.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots per year. My sliding scale for cash pay clients begins at $80+ per 45 minute hour and is based on financial need. For credit cards starting at $85+.

Cancellation Policy

Your spot is reserved just for you! If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay for the full fee of the session. Cancelling less than 24 hours prior to appointment will be subject to full fee.

Insurance

Out of Network/Private Pay: As a licensed clinician I am an out-of-network provider for all insurances that provide out-of-network benefits. I’d be happy to provide you with a receipt or a superbill for you to send to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Ask your carrier about your plan's coverage for out-of-network outpatient mental health services.

Benefits of private pay:

(1) No need a diagnosis to receive services. There are times we need a space to work through things that we are going through in life (i.e. life transitions, work stress, someone outside a family member/friend to work through difficulties experienced or simply a space to process thoughts and emotions etc.), that may not fit into a diagnostic criteria and may limit services being convered by insurance companies.

(2) Frequency of sessions are not limited by insurance companies. We can decide together how often to meet weekly/monthly and how many sessions.

(3) Information will remain confidential within the limits of the law and will not be released to insurance companies. Insurance companies require a diagnosis and will prediocally do audits to gather treatment plan/progress information to determine the need for continuation of services.

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services may cost.

court

I do not offer therapy services for family reunification therapy or court related matters (e.g. lawyer phone calls, declaration, letter writing etc.). If I do get subpoena for court, my fees are as below.

$230/(60 minutes). A minimum of 4 hour will need to be blocked and payment ($920) a week ahead of time of the scheduled litigation appearance is required. This is to account for potential delays with court and other client sessions cancelled for that time. Payment will be due to the parent that initiated clinician’s involvement.

$90/(30 minutes). Any litigation work done working towards court testimony (e.g. letter writing, phone calls, lawyer consult etc.) in preparation for court will be charge to the respective parent that initiated the clinician’s involvement.
