Is This for You?
Family therapy is a collaborative space for families who are experiencing challenges in their relationships, communication, or emotional connection. Families often seek therapy when stress, conflict, or life transitions begin to affect how they relate to one another at home, at school, or within the community.
This service is appropriate when family members are struggling with understanding each other’s needs, navigating emotional or behavioral concerns, or adjusting to changes that feel overwhelming to manage alone. Family therapy focuses on strengthening relationships while honoring each individual’s voice and experience.
My role is to support families in developing healthier communication, increasing emotional awareness, and creating a more supportive and respectful environment for growth.

My Approach
Family therapy is guided by a client-centered and strengths-based approach, with an emphasis on creating a supportive and emotionally safe space for every family member. I prioritize ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and valued throughout the therapeutic process.
I believe that families already possess strengths that can support meaningful and lasting change. Through active listening and collaborative exploration, we work together to deepen understanding, strengthen autonomy, and develop healthier patterns of connection and communication.
Therapeutic approaches are thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of each family and may include mindfulness-based strategies, cognitive behavioral tools, expressive techniques, motivational interviewing, and client-centered care.
Mindfulness-Based Strategies
Building awareness and emotional regulation to support calmer and more intentional family interactions.
Cognitive Behavioral Tools (CBT)
Identifying and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that affect family dynamics.
Expressive Techniques
Using creative methods to support emotional expression when words feel difficult.
Motivational Interviewing
Encouraging insight, motivation, and confidence to support meaningful family change.
