Payment & Insurance Information
Transparency in financial matters is essential to our therapeutic relationship. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about payment options and policies.
Accepted Payment Methods
I utilize IVY Pay, a HIPAA-secure payment platform designed specifically for therapists. You can securely store your card information and be billed automatically following our session.
Credit & Debit Cards
All major cards accepted through our secure payment platform.

I welcome Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards for your convenience.
Cash & Checks
Traditional payment methods are accepted for in-person sessions.
Sliding Scale
I believe therapy should be accessible. Limited slots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship.

A Note on Insurance & Private Pay
The only exception is Lyra, for which I am an in-network provider.

No diagnosis is required for your permanent medical record, allowing greater confidentiality and discretion in your care.

You have flexibility over the frequency and duration of therapy without insurance-related restrictions or limitations.
Superbills Available
Upon request, I can provide a monthly Superbill — a detailed receipt that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.*
*Please note that reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan. Check with your health insurance plan provider for more details.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice (or “no-shows”) will be charged the full session fee. This policy ensures I can offer that time slot to other clients who may be waiting for support.
Court Involvement & Legal Fees
My role is to provide a safe, therapeutic space for healing. Because the therapeutic relationship can be compromised if a therapist is involved in legal proceedings, I do not voluntarily participate in court cases.
If I am subpoenaed to provide testimony or documentation, a fee of $250 per hour will be charged for all court-related time, including preparation, travel, and wait time.
No Surprises Act / Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
